Housemaid – Full-time Domestic Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable housemaid to join a household in Kakamega. The role is full‑time and involves maintaining a clean, safe and pleasant living environment. Candidates should be able to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and general tidying.
• Wash, iron and organize clothing and linens.
• Clean dishes, maintain the kitchen area and assist with basic food preparation when needed.
• Keep household items and rooms neat, organized and hygienic.
• Carry out additional domestic duties assigned by the employer.

Required profile

• Hardworking, honest and trustworthy with good personal hygiene.
• Neat appearance and respectful attitude.
• Responsible, reliable and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in Kakamega and adapt to the household’s schedule.

Required skills

• Basic cleaning techniques and use of household cleaning equipment.
• Laundry handling, including washing and ironing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration up to KES 15,000.
• Full‑time permanent employment.
