About the role
The Humanitarian Emergency Affairs Internship offers recent graduates the chance to support World Vision’s disaster management programmes in Kenya. You will work closely with the emergency response team, applying data‑analytics techniques to improve humanitarian outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning and analysing data related to emergency situations.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Sphere and Core Humanitarian Standards.
- Prepare briefing notes, visualisations and reports for response teams.
- Identify trends in humanitarian data to inform decision‑making.
- Help coordinate field data‑collection activities and ensure data quality.
Required profile
- Graduated within the last two years with a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in disaster management and humanitarian work.
- Degree obtained from a recognised university.
