Hub Coordinator

About the role

Welthungerhilfe is establishing a Global Admin HUB in Nairobi as part of its ZAMI initiative. As the Hub Coordinator you will lead the set‑up, development and daily operations of this hub, ensuring high‑quality administrative support for country offices and the head office.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and continuously develop the Global Admin HUB and its Nairobi team.
• Recruit, onboard and train hub team members in coordination with the head office.
• Manage day‑to‑day hub operations, providing supervision, guidance and support.
• Ensure timely, efficient and high‑quality service delivery according to Service Level Agreements.
• Support the phased transition and integration of operational processes and systems into the hub.
• Act as the main liaison between the hub, country offices and head office, facilitating communication and alignment.
• Coordinate resolution of operational issues with hub teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance and quality assurance across hub‑managed processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and adapt processes in line with digital transformation goals.
• Contribute to the ZAMI Core Team, identifying risks, sharing lessons learned and supporting implementation.

Required profile

• University or technical college degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Global South contexts.
• Experience coordinating and organizing operational processes; financial processing experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborative, solution‑oriented working style with initiative and sound decision‑making.
