Lead Business Central Functional Consultant

About the role

The Lead Business Central Functional Consultant will drive the design, deployment and ongoing administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across Baran Telecom Networks’ multi‑subsidiary environment. Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will ensure seamless financial consolidation, integration with Project Operations and third‑party systems, and continuous optimisation after go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure a scalable multi‑company Business Central architecture, enabling each subsidiary to maintain independent books while supporting group‑level consolidation.
• Lead data migration from legacy platforms, overseeing mapping, cleansing, validation and user acceptance testing.
• Implement core Business Central modules and align data flows with Microsoft Project Operations and external systems.
• Manage system administration tasks including tenant licensing, security roles, and environment lifecycles.
• Monitor Microsoft’s release cycles, conduct impact assessments, and perform regression testing to avoid downtime.
• Provide Level 2/3 functional support and act as the primary liaison with Microsoft support.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, Jet Reports and Power Automate workflows for corporate intelligence.
• Continuously audit performance, identify bottlenecks and configure enhancements as business needs evolve.

Required profile

• Mandatory Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (Exam MB‑800).
• Preferred Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (Exam PL‑200) and Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate (Exam MB‑820).
• Proven experience delivering multi‑subsidiary ERP implementations.
