About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Expert to join a leading technology firm on a remote, part‑time basis. You will guide the company on legal matters that affect micro‑tasking and freelance platforms, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to data privacy, labor laws, and cross‑border transactions.
• Advise on intellectual property disputes and provide support for dispute‑resolution mechanisms.
• Assist with user disputes and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Stay current on national and international regulations impacting gig‑economy platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal stakeholders.
