Logistics Coordinator – Kikuyu

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily transport activities, plan vehicle deployment, supervise drivers and ensure that materials move safely and on schedule for a client in Kikuyu.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and logistics operations, preparing driver schedules, duty rosters and vehicle deployment plans.
• Supervise and monitor drivers to maintain productivity, discipline and safety, ensuring compliance with company procedures and traffic regulations.
• Manage fleet maintenance, monitor vehicle condition, schedule servicing and address breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Production and Workshop teams to resolve delays, route challenges and transport disruptions.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, prepare performance reports and ensure compliance with safety and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a busy logistics or transport environment, with proven driver supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of fleet and transport operations and ability to coordinate multiple vehicles simultaneously.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Residence in or around Kikuyu, or reliable commuting capability.
