Machine Learning and AI Trainer (Volunteer)

About the role

Kikwetu Foundation is seeking a part‑time remote volunteer to lead Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence training for youth and women beneficiaries. The trainer will create and deliver interactive sessions that empower participants to apply modern AI techniques to real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design curriculum and educational materials covering machine learning and deep learning concepts.
• Deliver engaging, interactive virtual training sessions for diverse learners.
• Provide hands‑on guidance on AI tools and techniques, mentoring participants through practical projects.
• Collaborate with the foundation’s team to ensure training aligns with its mission and program objectives.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and statistics.
• Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning technologies.
• Prior experience developing or teaching machine‑learning curricula is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a passion for education.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Commitment to empowering youth and women through skill‑building.
