Membership & Marketing Officer

About the role

The Nairobi Club is looking for a dynamic Membership & Marketing Officer to lead membership growth, develop strategic partnerships and boost the club’s brand visibility. Based in Upperhill, Nairobi, you will work closely with the CEO and senior management to shape and execute marketing and recruitment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement membership recruitment plans.
• Deliver high‑quality service to members, managing enquiries and maintaining the member database efficiently.
• Lead the marketing function, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
• Execute the club’s marketing vision in line with the strategic plan, including advertising, promotions and market intelligence activities.
• Secure sponsorships and strategic partners for club events and sections.
• Manage the annual events calendar, promote events, create promotional materials and handle e‑invites, invoices and payment follow‑ups.
• Oversee social‑media channels, creating and maintaining content to enhance brand presence.
• Develop and launch new product ideas, such as branded merchandise and souvenirs.

• Experience working within a management team to develop and implement club‑specific strategies is an advantage.
