Corporate Communications Manager – Nairobi

About the role

The Corporate Communications Manager will protect and advance DIB Kenya’s reputation as the leading Shariah‑compliant bank in the country. Reporting to senior leadership, the role designs and executes an integrated communications strategy across media, regulators, employees and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy covering media relations, internal communications, regulatory engagement and employer branding.
• Produce press releases, CEO speeches, annual report sections and stakeholder presentations that align with DIB Group standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists across print, broadcast, online and trade outlets in Kenya and East Africa.
• Lead internal communications programmes with HR, including newsletters, town‑hall facilitation and crisis communication.
• Support the CEO and executive committee with thought‑leadership content, media training and speaking engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of corporate communications experience, including 3 years in the financial services sector.
• Proven track record of media coverage, executive communications and managing reputational crises.
