Paralegal Internship – Nairobi

About the role

Danlex Partners LLP is looking for a motivated Paralegal Intern to join its Nairobi legal team for a three‑month, renewable internship. This position offers hands‑on experience supporting advocates, managing case files, and conducting legal research in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft initial versions of legal documents, briefs, and correspondence.
• Organise and maintain case records, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility.
• Assist advocates in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, court registries, and external stakeholders, handling routine administrative matters.

Required profile

• Currently completing a Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law (graduating this year) or holding an LLB and pursuing a paralegal career.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, research methods, and document formatting.
• High level of accuracy, ethical standards, and commitment to client confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
