Part‑Time Lecturer – Principles of Taxation

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a qualified academic to join its faculty on a part‑time basis to teach the Principles of Taxation. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lectures, guide student learning, and contribute to the department’s academic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures on taxation principles for undergraduate students.
• Develop teaching materials, case studies, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
• Provide academic mentorship and support to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development activities.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional tax or accounting certification is an advantage.
• Ability to submit a complete application package including CV, certificates, transcripts, recent pay slip, and three referee letters.
