Pension Operations Assistant – Fixed-Term

About the role

The Pension Operations Assistant will support the Pension Operations division by handling pension administration, data management, payment processing, and compliance activities. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency and data integrity through analytics and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and post pension contributions for SME schemes and reconcile contributions.
• Manage suspense accounts, ensuring timely updates with resolution owners.
• Maintain accurate member records and validate balances before payments.
• Process payment transactions, capture bank details, and reconcile daily and monthly payments.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries on contributions, benefits, claims, and payroll services.
• Facilitate data clean‑up, onboarding of new clients, and ensure data quality compliance.
• Support preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports for pension schemes.
• Develop Python scripts to automate reconciliation and exception reporting.
• Build Power BI dashboards for real‑time KPI visibility.
• Conduct data quality analysis and prepare structured reports for audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing.
• Experience with large data sets and data analytics.

Required skills

• Python programming for data automation.
• Power BI for dashboard creation.
• Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting and reconciliation.
