About the role
Karacare Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time Pharmaceutical Technologist to join its teams in Nairobi and Machakos. The role involves direct patient interaction, medication preparation, and support for the pharmacy’s daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Compound and dispense medications according to prescription requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Fill prescriptions and manage over‑the‑counter dispensing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Promote and sell skincare products and dietary supplements where appropriate.
Required profile
- Enrolled with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling medicines.
- Ability to work well in a team, be teachable and adaptable.
- Previous experience in a busy community pharmacy is advantageous.
