Pharmaceutical Technologist (Nairobi)

About the role

DoveyPharma Limited is seeking a full‑time Pharmaceutical Technologist to join its Nairobi pharmacy team. You will work on‑site to ensure safe preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medicines while supporting patient care and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compound medications according to validated formulas and prescriptions.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and maintain detailed pharmacy records.
• Verify prescription details with pharmacists and advise patients on proper medication usage.
• Ensure medicines are stored, handled, and administered in line with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to uphold quality and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Current licensure and registration with the Kenyan regulatory authority.
• Previous experience in a community or hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to staying updated on industry regulations.
