PhD Peer Review – Radiology, Nuclear Medicine & Medical Imaging

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in radiology, nuclear medicine or related medical imaging fields to join our peer‑review panel on a long‑term, part‑time basis. The position is fully remote and allows you to contribute your expertise to the scholarly community while maintaining your own research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, validity and relevance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in radiology, nuclear medicine, medical imaging or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewable papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential material objectively.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
