Program Coordinator – Agricultural International Certifications & Field Compliance

About the role

SAFA Limited is looking for a Program Coordinator to lead the implementation and monitoring of international agricultural certification standards across Kenya. The role combines certification management, data reporting and field coordination to ensure audit‑ready compliance and traceability for smallholder farms.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor certification schemes such as ISCC and FSS, ensuring full environmental, social and traceability compliance.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Manage certification‑related datasets, produce reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and Python, and validate data integrity.
• Maintain geospatial records to verify land‑use compliance and link farmers, plots and production data.
• Collaborate with field officers to support farmer training, monitor on‑site compliance and ensure timely reporting from all operational regions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or agricultural discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in certification, compliance or agricultural program coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highly structured environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
• Power BI for dashboard creation.
• Python for data validation and automation.
