Project Consultant – Better Mining Programs

About the role

The Project Consultant supports the delivery of Better Mining programmes by turning complex monitoring and traceability data into clear insights and recommendations. Working closely with Project Managers, the role blends advanced data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse monitoring and traceability data submitted by field teams.
• Prepare client deliverables such as Quarterly Reports, Supply Chain Evaluations, Corrective Action Plans and risk analysis summaries.
• Support validation of mineral exports from monitored mine sites.
• Participate in client calls, present findings professionally, and ensure consistency across reporting outputs.
• Coordinate project logistics, track deliverables and assist with the launch of new projects.
• Clean, validate and analyse large operational datasets, identify trends, risks and anomalies.
• Develop visualisations, dashboards and analytical summaries for stakeholder use.

Required profile

• Proactive, intellectually curious and highly organised.
• Comfortable working in complex, fast‑moving environments with increasing independence.
• Strong professional integrity and sound judgment, able to flag unethical practices.
• Experience guiding junior team members and contributing to consistent project delivery.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data cleaning, analysis and visualisation.
