Project Manager – ICT Digital Transformation

About the role

Farsight Africa Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead an ICT Digital Transformation project aimed at modernising government services in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex ICT initiatives on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, implementation and delivery activities.
• Develop and manage work plans, schedules, milestones and resource allocations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, consultants, vendors and stakeholders.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, risks and dependencies, ensuring effective governance.
• Manage project budgets, procurement and resource utilisation.
• Conduct project meetings, progress reviews and status reporting.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
• Facilitate system implementation, testing, training and commissioning.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, technical teams and management.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations and executive briefings.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring regulatory and donor compliance.

Required profile

• Must be a citizen of Somaliland.
• Proven leadership and project governance experience.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale ICT, tax administration, public‑sector or enterprise systems implementation projects.
