Reconciliation Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Reconciliation Analyst to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will manage end‑to‑end reconciliation for multiple banking partners, investigate breaks, and support automation projects that drive long‑term process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and continuously improve daily reconciliation processes, including data gathering, analysis, and transaction matching.
• Investigate discrepancies, breaks, and variances, and take corrective actions to resolve and prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with payments, trading, and middle‑office teams as well as external banking partners to ensure seamless financial reporting.
• Support cross‑functional projects aimed at automating reconciliation workflows and integrating new tools.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of process‑enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in reconciliation, financial analysis, or a related accounting function, preferably in fintech, financial services, or payments.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel (Vlookup, Xlookup, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within international, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with process improvement and automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of payment processing, FX transactions, and emerging markets.
• Comfortable with working hours 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EAT.
