Resource Assistant

About the role

The Resource Assistant provides essential administrative support to Resource Coordinators handling assets, materials, and products. You will help forecast resource needs, optimise inventory, and ensure smooth equipment mobilisation across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor job schedules in planning systems and coordinate equipment mobilisation, demobilisation, and movements between locations.
• Identify future demand and optimise inventory requirements to support resource planning.
• Maintain accurate data and transactions in business systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Resource Coordinators to guarantee timely equipment and material availability.
• Manage permits, transportation documentation, and insurance records.
• Support fixed‑asset tracking, reconciliation, and inventory control activities.
• Generate reports and keep resource and asset records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, asset coordination, logistics, supply chain, inventory management or operations support, preferably in oil & gas, energy, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of resource planning, inventory management, asset coordination and logistics operations.
• Proficiency with SAP, ERP systems and related resource‑management tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience in data reporting and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of permits, dangerous‑goods documentation and compliance requirements.
