About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

Greet customers, offer assistance, and answer product queries.
Process payments using cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
Restock merchandise, maintain attractive displays, and assist with inventory counts.
Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
Maintain accurate price labels and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and organized.
Participate in in‑store marketing events.
Develop in‑depth product knowledge to recommend items to customers.
Ensure the sales floor follows established layout guidelines.

Required profile

Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.

Required skills

Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
