Retail Sales Representative – Medical Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales Representative to drive the growth of our medical equipment portfolio in Nairobi. The role involves promoting a range of devices to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers, ensuring strong client relationships and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Present and demonstrate medical equipment to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve monthly and annual quotas.
• Provide after‑sales support, handling inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities using SAP and MS Office tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of proven sales experience in medical equipment or the broader healthcare industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using SAP systems for sales and customer management.
