Sales Engineer

About the role

Construction Support Limited is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join its high‑performing team in Westlands, Nairobi. The ideal candidate combines technical engineering expertise with a strong sales mindset to drive market growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Promote key construction products and lead successful launches targeting the right customer segments.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments, providing actionable insights through regular reporting.
• Deliver hands‑on product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical support to customers and partners.
• Own and expand market share across the assigned territory, developing strategic sales plans using bundled solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with construction stakeholders, channel partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• Advanced English communication skills for clear and persuasive interactions.
• At least 5 years of proven success in sales or a related field, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse market dynamics and translate insights into strategies.
• Team‑oriented, self‑driven mindset with resilience and proactive problem‑solving.
