Senior Business Development Officer (B2B Specialist)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to drive B2B sales of premium bakery and confectionery products across Nairobi. The role focuses on acquiring wholesale accounts, growing recurring revenue, and providing technical sales support to professional bakers and chefs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and secure wholesale accounts across industrial bakeries, artisan bakeries, hotels, restaurants and food‑service suppliers in Nairobi.
• Drive recurring weekly/monthly orders, introduce bulk subscription models and upsell during seasonal peaks.
• Organise product tastings and baking demonstrations together with the culinary team, offering on‑the‑spot technical advice.
• Monitor competitor pricing, product launches and client preferences to inform sales strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the bakery or broader F&B industry.
• Established network of purchasing managers, head chefs or bakery owners in Nairobi.
• Proven ability to generate revenue from day one and manage long‑term supply relationships.
• Mid‑level professional with a results‑driven, hunter mindset.
