Senior .NET & Epicor Technical Architect

About the role

Sonata Software is seeking a Senior .NET & Epicor Technical Architect to lead complex ERP modernization initiatives. The role involves guiding technical teams, overseeing multiple Epicor upgrade projects, and ensuring high‑quality delivery within a fast‑paced factory model environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage POD (Product‑Oriented Delivery) teams across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
• Handle multiple Epicor/Kinetic upgrade projects simultaneously.
• Conduct daily status calls and provide stakeholder updates.
• Ensure quality delivery within agreed timelines.
• Guide technical design and architecture decisions, including cloud refreshes and tenant management.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Strong background in Epicor/Kinetic ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Experience working in a factory‑model delivery environment.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Web API, MVC, Entity Framework / EF Core.
• Frontend frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• SQL Server performance tuning.
• Microservices architecture.
• Epicor/Kinetic development (3–5 years), including BPMs, Epicor Functions, REST APIs, BAQ, DMT, Solution Workbench, and Migration Workbench.
