Senior Tour Consultant – Nairobi

About the role

The Senior Tour Consultant will design and manage bespoke travel experiences across Kenya and East Africa. You will work directly with clients to translate their preferences into memorable safari packages and multi‑country itineraries, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.

Key responsibilities

• Design personalized travel itineraries based on client needs and budgets.
• Prepare competitive quotations and manage all booking processes.
• Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and internal teams to secure services.
• Handle itinerary updates, client requests, and any on‑trip issues efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction.
• Stay up‑to‑date with East African destinations, travel trends, and supplier offerings.
• Support profitability through effective pricing and supplier negotiations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in travel consulting or tour operations.
• Strong knowledge of East African destinations and itinerary planning.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Wetu itinerary software.
