About the role

Emerald Clinical is seeking a Site Contracts Lead who is fluent in Mandarin to join its Project Management team in Kenya. The role focuses on managing all contract and budget activities for clinical trial sites, working closely with sponsors, vendors, and clinical operations staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead contract and budget development across multiple studies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sites on contract and budget matters.
  • Negotiate site contracts ensuring alignment with sponsor expectations.
  • Coordinate with clinical operations and project teams to manage timelines, deliverables, and change requests.
  • Oversee vendor activities and site payment processes.
  • Track and forecast project budgets, scope changes, and key milestones.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and training.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

  • Qualified lawyer preferred.
  • Prior experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or academic setting supporting clinical trials.
