Software Engineer – Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services for a global technology leader. You will work in a distributed‑system environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate micro‑platforms that are reliable, performant and scalable.
• Implement backend services using modern languages and best practices.
• Partner with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring and observability.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following engineering standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and container orchestration.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
