Specialist BI Developer – Global Role

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Specialist BI Developer to join its global Transformation Delivery and Digital Technology (TDIT) team. The role will design, build, and continuously improve Business Intelligence solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with global TDIT members, business stakeholders and product owners to design and deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
• Estimate, prioritize and deliver tasks in line with project and change‑request methodologies.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts to showcase innovative BI approaches.
• Analyse and optimise existing BI systems for efficiency, robustness and scalability.
• Work with IT teams (testing, release management, infrastructure, architecture) to implement and manage changes to the BI environment.
• Provide regular BI services such as KPI reporting for program operations and data reconciliation for supply chain and finance.
• Identify and escalate technical risks or issues related to BI.

Required profile

• Right to work in the country where the role is based.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 5% of the time.
