Stores Clerk – Raw Materials

About the role

The Stores Clerk – Raw Materials will manage the receipt, inspection, storage and issue of raw materials for the company. This full‑time, onsite position ensures that inventory is accurately recorded and that materials are available for production while complying with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, verify quantities, specifications and documentation against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
• Label, record and store materials in designated locations following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock records, monitor levels and minimise shortages, excess or wastage.
• Issue materials to authorised departments based on approved requisitions and keep proper documentation.
• Record all stock movements in the inventory system and manage returns, transfers and adjustments.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile with system records and investigate variances.
• Prepare stock and inventory reports using MS Excel and ensure compliance with health, safety and stores policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in stores, inventory, warehouse or materials management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
