Supplies Coordinator – Aviation Warehouse Management

About the role
The Supplies Coordinator will organise and control aircraft spares and tools in a dedicated warehouse, ensuring that all items are stored, handled and issued in line with airworthiness requirements and Kenya Airways quality standards. The role supports schedule demands of Kenya Airways and other contracted airlines.
Key responsibilities
- Manage warehousing and handling of aircraft spares and tools, complying with airworthiness and company quality standards.
- Issue parts and tools to meet flight‑schedule requirements for Kenya Airways and other operators.
- Maintain secure access to the stockroom in accordance with Maintenance Organization Exposition procedures.
- Oversee inventory levels using OASES, maintain accurate records and achieve at least 98 % stock accuracy through regular audits.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, detect defects and ensure conformity with purchase orders.
- Organise storage space efficiently with appropriate shelving and labelling for quick access.
- Coordinate distribution of materials to various users or satellite warehouses based on demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including MSDS handling and OEM guidelines.
- Maintain documentation of all inventory transactions and generate reports to support decision‑making.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise inventory practices and reduce costs.
Required profile
- Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in aviation supply chain or warehouse management.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or Commerce, or a relevant diploma with comparable experience.
- Strong knowledge of KCAA/EASA regulations and Kenya Airways quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work under pressure on a shift schedule.
