About the role
Bayinah Academy, an international Islamic school in Nairobi, is seeking a full-time Teacher to deliver both the British National Curriculum and Islamic education to students aged 2½ to 17 years.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum for early years, primary and secondary students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful classroom environment that reflects the school’s values.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to align teaching methods and share best practices.
Required profile
- Passion for teaching and ability to work with a wide age range.
- Commitment to the school’s dual focus on academic excellence and Islamic values.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the British National Curriculum.
- Understanding of Islamic educational principles.
