Warehouse Assistant Officer – Hindi/Gujarati Speaking

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant Officer will support the efficient receipt, storage, control and dispatch of medical equipment, rehabilitation products, consumables and mobility aids for a leading pharmaceutical supplier in Nairobi. Fluency in Hindi or Gujarati is required to communicate with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming stock, verify quantities, condition and expiry dates, and generate Goods Received Notes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the Odoo ERP system, conduct daily checks, cycle counts and monthly stock takes, and apply FIFO where applicable.
• Organise storage locations, ensure cleanliness, protect products from damage or theft, and monitor required storage conditions.
• Pick, pack and verify orders, prepare delivery documentation and coordinate dispatch with logistics teams.
• Record goods receipts, stock transfers, deliveries and returns in Odoo on the same day, following SOPs and supporting continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• At least three years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
• Practical experience using an ERP system; Odoo experience is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CIPS or KISM are an advantage.
