About the role
WeTravel is looking for a motivated Account Executive based in Kenya to join its fast‑growing East Africa sales team. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and help expand the world’s leading booking and payments platform for group travel across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and outreach to potential travel operators and tour companies in East Africa.
- Conduct product demonstrations and showcase the value of WeTravel’s platform.
- Manage the sales pipeline, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
- Gather client feedback and relay insights to the product team.
Required profile
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or the travel industry.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and delivering product demos.
- Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and achieving targets.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work autonomously.
