Associate Treasury Specialist – CMPS, Wealth Management

About the role

The Associate Treasury Specialist will support Standard Chartered's Capital Markets Products and Solutions (CMPS) initiative within the Wealth Management division, focusing on the SME segment. The role combines client‑facing activities, product promotion and cross‑selling, and market analysis to help achieve financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist SME clients in meeting CMPS product requirements.
• Build relationships with key decision‑makers to expand the core CMPS customer base.
• Promote cross‑sell of FX, Fixed Income and Wealth Lending products by coordinating campaigns, incentives and training with product managers.
• Contribute to the design of new retail‑banking products.
• Deliver market and product updates, and present financial solutions via virtual or face‑to‑face meetings.
• Conduct portfolio analysis, liaise with relationship teams, and identify opportunities to deepen wallet share.
• Address multi‑asset‑class and diverse product needs for SME clients.
• Focus on onboarding new‑to‑product and new‑to‑investment SME customers.
• Drive performance and productivity of SME Fixed Income and FX offerings.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum).
• Knowledge of market, products, processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in relationship management and client pitching.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of wealth‑management solutions.
• Proficiency in English.
• CISI/ACI certifications are a plus.
