B2B Sales Manager - Powder Coating & Paints

About the role

Achyutam International is recruiting an experienced B2B Sales Manager with a strong background in powder coating to drive business growth, build new customer relationships and expand market presence across Kenya. The role suits a Kenyan national with 6+ years of experience in the paints, coatings and surface finishing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and business growth targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the powder coating market.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, including manufacturers, fabricators, aluminium processors and metal industries.
• Promote powder coating products and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to handle customer queries and product issues.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and spot new opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, quotations and reports, and maintain customer databases.
• Negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely payment collection.

Required profile

• 6+ years of sales experience, preferably in powder coating, paints, coatings or surface finishing.
• Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Established network and customer relationships in the Kenyan market.
• Kenyan nationality; local candidates only.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of powder coating products, applications and the industrial customer segment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to independently develop new markets and hit sales targets.
