Business Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Ezra is looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join its BI team in Nairobi. The role focuses on internal and external reporting, turning stakeholder requirements into robust data pipelines and visual dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and design solutions that fit the existing reports portfolio.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain ETL pipelines using Python.
• Create data visualisations and interactive reports in Tableau.
• Suggest appropriate statistical approaches for measuring company KPIs.
• Assist in evaluating new technologies for possible adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Working proficiency with Python or another programming/scripting language.
• Advanced working proficiency with SQL and experience with any RDBMS.
• Familiarity with Linux (Debian) and Windows environments.
• Experience with version control (GIT) and Excel.
