About the role
The Clinical Officer III will work at the university’s health centre in Westlands, Nairobi, providing essential medical services to staff and students. This full‑time position supports the health needs of a busy teaching hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to patients in the university health facility.
- Utilize and maintain hospital management systems for patient records and reporting.
- Collaborate with other health professionals within the teaching hospital environment.
- Participate in health education and training activities for students and staff.
Required profile
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a busy health facility.
- Experience in a tertiary learning institution is an advantage.
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Kenya Constitution 2010.
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Experience with hospital management systems.
