Content Moderation Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Content Moderation Specialist to join our global trust and safety team. Working fully remotely, you will help create a safer online environment by reviewing user‑generated content and ensuring it complies with our policies and community standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and moderate text, images, and video content to ensure alignment with platform policies, legal standards and community guidelines.
• Identify and flag hate speech, fraud, misinformation, and other harmful material.
• Apply moderation policies consistently while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderation teams for further review.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Contribute to a respectful and compliant digital environment for users worldwide.

Required profile

• Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, compliance or related fields (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess potentially disturbing content objectively.
• Familiarity with moderation workflows and online community guidelines.
• Good understanding of cultural nuances affecting content interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting while meeting productivity goals.
