Product Manager – AI Enablement

About the role

The Co-operative Bank of Kenya is seeking a strategic and execution‑focused Product Manager to lead its AI Enablement agenda. Reporting to the Head of Digital Products and Innovation Factory, you will shape the AI roadmap, prioritize high‑value initiatives and ensure they deliver measurable customer and commercial benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI enablement roadmap, pilots and portfolio aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
• Identify, assess and prioritize AI and analytics opportunities based on impact, feasibility and adoption potential.
• Lead initiative planning, backlog prioritisation, stakeholder alignment, governance and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure AI solutions are secure, governed, operationally ready and scalable.
• Support launch readiness, change management, benefits realisation and continuous improvement of AI‑enabled initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, privacy, audit, regulatory and risk requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Product Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Delivery, Innovation, Transformation, Business Technology or Analytics‑enabled initiatives.
• Professional certification in Product Management, Agile, Project Management, Digital Transformation or AI Product Management is an advantage.
• Exposure or training in AI, analytics, automation, innovation management, customer experience or data governance is a plus.
