About the role
We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join Naru Zanzibar’s remote team. You will assist travelers in planning and enjoying curated experiences across Zanzibar, providing friendly and efficient support through digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries via WhatsApp, email, and social media.
- Assist guests with bookings, trip planning, and itinerary questions.
- Recommend Zanzibar experiences tailored to each traveler’s preferences.
- Provide pre‑arrival and on‑trip support to ensure seamless experiences.
- Coordinate with operations and sales teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Warm, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
- Highly organized, responsive, and able to multitask.
- Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection.
- Passion for travel, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
Required skills
- Minimum 3 years in a customer‑facing or support role.
- Experience using WhatsApp, email support, and CRM systems.
- Background in travel, hospitality, or tourism is a plus.
