Decision Support Manager - Credit Risk

About the role

East African Breweries PLC (EABL), a public listed company operating breweries, distilleries and distribution across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, is hiring a Decision Support Manager - Credit Risk. The role reports functionally to the Head of Credit Risk Management and oversees key credit management metrics, providing analysis and insights to support credit decisions, working capital performance and cash collection. It works closely with the OTC team and engages stakeholders across the business and shared services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive focus and oversight on credit management processes, related KPIs and opportunities
• Generate market insights through analytics and DBSI and turn them into solutions with key stakeholders
• Monitor and deliver strong working capital reporting in the Balance Sheet
• Support internal CARM checks and the external audit process
• Challenge current ways of working to find improvements and train business partners on credit risk KPIs and deliverables
• Hold others to account, deliver in the absence of the HoCRM, and suggest improvement actions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent
• ACCA/CPA qualification
• 6-8 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong track record in analytic or finance roles with commercial acumen
• Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and adapt to change

Required skills

• Excellent Microsoft Excel and modelling skills
• Strong written and spoken communication
• Significant financial knowledge
