Detailed Production Scheduler & Materials Requirement Planner

About the role

Nestlé Kenya is seeking a Detailed Production Scheduler and Materials Requirement Planner to translate the master production schedule into executable daily plans, while ensuring raw and packaging material availability for uninterrupted factory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create feasible daily production plans for finished goods based on the master schedule and optimise sequencing and capacity utilisation.
• Monitor plan execution, identify and resolve production exceptions.
• Ensure availability of raw, imported bulk and packaging materials by managing purchase orders, supplier follow‑up and inventory levels.
• Maintain inventory within target ranges, minimise redundancy and support warehouse compliance.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, suppliers and planners, and assist the Supply Planner in weekly production review meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Production, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, MRP or related functions.
• Factory planning experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong numeracy, problem‑solving, communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP/APO.
• Advanced Excel skills.
