Digital Marketing Attaché - Video Editing

About the role

Alinefacility Management is looking for a skilled and professional video editor to join its Digital Marketing team in Nairobi on a 3-month attachment. The role supports the team in producing engaging, high-quality and timely video content for the company's digital platforms, campaigns, activations and other marketing initiatives, while helping improve content turnaround time and creative output. The attaché reports to the Digital Marketing Manager or Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media and digital platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, graphics, music and other effects to videos.
• Adapt video content to different formats and sizes for various platforms.
• Help select videos and make basic colour, sound and visual corrections.
• Support the team during campaigns, activations, events and content shoots.
• Create reels, short videos, promotional clips and other digital content.
• Ensure content is edited and submitted within agreed timelines and follows brand guidelines.
• Stay up to date with social media video trends and editing techniques.

Required profile

• Skilled and professional video editor.
• Good understanding of social media content formats and trends.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Attention to detail, creativity and good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate current and trendy video editing skills.
• Familiarity with video editing software.
