Finance Manager - Manufacturing Africa

About the role

You will lead the financial management of a high‑impact FCDO‑funded programme supporting manufacturing across Africa. The role ensures strong financial control, accurate reporting and effective budgeting to enable successful programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own core finance responsibilities for Manufacturing Africa, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and donor compliance.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, track spend against forecasts, and lead monthly financial reporting with variance analysis.
• Coordinate budgeting and planning call‑down studies, ensure timely invoicing and fund drawdowns.
• Collaborate closely with McKinsey Development Partners’ Finance Lead and programme leadership to maintain robust financial oversight.
• Provide clear financial insights and analysis to support resource allocation and programme performance.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial support for operational or strategic priorities such as proposal inputs, special analyses or reporting requests.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing finances for donor‑funded programmes.
