Intern Analyst – Power & Infrastructure (Nairobi)

About the role

CrossBoundary Advisory is seeking a motivated Intern Analyst to join its Power and Infrastructure Advisory team in Nairobi. The six‑month internship offers hands‑on exposure to renewable energy and infrastructure projects across emerging markets, supporting transaction advisory and business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to inform client recommendations and internal strategy.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, investment memoranda, briefing notes and other client‑facing deliverables.
• Support financial analysis, including data collection, building financial models, sensitivity testing and benchmarking.
• Identify and map potential capital sources such as investors, lenders, donors and development finance institutions.
• Contribute to business development by researching new opportunities, drafting credentials, case studies and proposal materials.
• Track project deliverables, deadlines and action items, maintaining organized project files, trackers and knowledge‑management databases.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Kenya.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance and investment advisory in emerging markets.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
