General Manager – Signage, Branding & Printing Operations

About the role

A leading company in the signage, branding and large-format printing industry is looking for a commercially driven, experienced General Manager to lead its operations and drive business growth. The role covers overall business performance, including revenue generation, operational efficiency, project delivery and team leadership. It calls for a dynamic leader with strong business development skills who can manage end-to-end production and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and expand the client portfolio.
• Identify and secure new business with corporate clients, retail chains, banks, telcos, FMCG companies and marketing agencies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, including design, fabrication, printing and installation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to required quality standards.
• Streamline production processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage the business unit's P&L, ensuring profitability and strong project margins, and monitor costing and pricing.
• Lead, mentor and develop teams across sales, design and production, and build a strong business development pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 8-12+ years of relevant experience in signage, branding, exhibitions, large-format printing or a related industry.
• Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
• Demonstrated experience managing a P&L or business unit.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
