Hardware Sales Specialist – Kisumu

About the role

The Hardware Sales Specialist will drive promotion and sales of hardware and general merchandise across the Kisumu region. You will work to meet the company’s sales targets while building lasting relationships with local retailers and bulk clients.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell hardware and general merchandise to achieve set sales targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with local retailers, bulk clients and industry partners.
• Expand the customer base by continuously identifying new business opportunities.
• Monitor local market demand, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
• Handle daily customer inquiries, coordinate orders and resolve after‑sales issues to ensure high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in the hardware or general merchandise sector is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the Kisumu consumer market and existing local customer contacts are strong advantages.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to daily business needs.
