Head of Diaspora Banking

About the role

KCB Group is seeking a strategic leader to head its Diaspora Banking division. The role focuses on expanding the bank’s reach among global diaspora communities, driving growth, and delivering innovative, digitally‑enabled financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive diaspora banking strategy to increase deposits, liabilities, and customer acquisition.
• Identify new markets, partnerships and commercial opportunities across the global diaspora segment.
• Design and launch digital products tailored to diaspora customer needs, leveraging technology and strategic alliances.
• Strengthen customer relationships through targeted engagement, service excellence and value‑added propositions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to continuously improve the offering.
• Ensure compliance with AML, CFT, KYC, credit policy and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to build a high‑performance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sales, customer service, credit, relationship management and banking operations.
• Proven track record in driving growth and managing risk within a banking environment.
