Indian CDP Chef

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Indian CDP Chef to join our kitchen team and deliver authentic Indian cuisine to our guests. The role involves preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and supporting menu development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, breads, rice dishes and biryanis.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portioning and presentation across all plates.
• Oversee mise en place, ensure ingredients are ready and manage stock rotation.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, new recipe development and special event catering.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, train junior members and ensure smooth service during peak periods.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role specializing in Indian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Indian cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen.
